Zoom Critique Workshop

5 Thurs. classes

This private class is an online critique workshop where we read and critique each other's work. It’s open to prior students only. All genres including poetry and play writing welcome.

Fee $130. Includes 15 pages of your work professionally edited.

I’ll email participants 5 days prior to first class with zoom meeting number and password (same as last class) and how to submit work online.

Writing the Short Form:

Essay, Memoir and Short Story

.This class teaches writing techniques used by pros to turn personal essays and stories into page-turners. Class consists of lecture, writing exercises and class critiques of student writing. Classes are ongoing with new material each session. Fee includes professional editing of your work by instructor Barbara Flores, an award-winning four-time published author. 6 classes.

BIO: Barbara Flores has taught writing through U.C. Berkeley Extension, St Mary’s College in California, and Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is an award winning author and playwright with three nonfiction books, a published memoir and a soon to be published YA fiction. She received her MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College, Vermont. Barbara lives both in Livermore, CA and Palm Beach, FL.

Her memoir, Separated, Acting Badly, was recently released.
